Good coffee is part of how we look after our members. We open in December 2026.\nAbout the role:\nYou run the café counter in the lobby. Members come to you two or three times a day; guests get their first coffee from you while they wait for a tour. You make very good coffee, keep the counter and the lounge spotless, manage stock, and know the regulars by name. On quiet days you help the front desk keep the floor ready.\nResponsibilities:\nCoffee and drinks\nPrepare espresso drinks, filter coffee, tea, iced drinks and fresh juices to one consistent standard, every cup.\n\nDial in the espresso machine each morning and check it during the day; clean the group heads, steam wands and grinder on schedule.\n\nKnow every drink on the menu and the member price; suggest something to guests who are waiting for a tour.\n\nLearn regulars’ names and orders; members should feel known.\n\nFood and menu\nReceive, store and display pastries, sandwiches and snacks; keep them fresh and labelled with dates.\n\nRemove anything past its date and record the waste.\n\nSuggest menu changes and new items based on what members buy and ask for.\nOpening and closing\n\nOpen the café before the first members arrive: machine on and dialed in, counter set, display filled, music and lights.\n\nClose with the daily checklist: machine cleaned and back-flushed, fridges checked, surfaces and floor clean, rubbish out.\n\nPayments\nTake payments at the counter by card machine or cash, or charge the member's company account in the app (within the monthly limit).\n\nRecord every sale correctly; run the café cash-up at closing and hand the result to the front desk.\n\nStock and ordering\nKeep the stock count of coffee beans, milk, cups, lids, syrups, snacks and cleaning products.\n\nOrder from the agreed suppliers on the agreed days and tell the manager before anything runs out.\n\nCheck deliveries against the order for quantity, quality and dates.\n\nCleanliness and food safety\nFollow Dubai Municipality food-safety rules; keep temperature, cleaning and allergen logs up to date.\n\nKeep the counter, café, lounge tables and pantry clean between cleaning rounds; reset tables after guests.\n\nHelp members follow the house rules: food and drinks are for the pantry, café and lounge, not the offices.\n\nSupporting the floor\nPrepare refreshments for meeting-room bookings and events when ordered.\n\nHelp with the monthly members evening: drinks, set-up and clearing.\n\nHelp the front desk during busy hours: welcome guests, take deliveries, show visitors where to wait.\n\nRequirements\nRequirement:\nTwo or more years as a barista in a specialty café, hotel or premium office café. You can steam milk properly and you care about the cup.\n\nFriendly and fast at a busy counter; you remember people and their orders.\n\nClean, organised, reliable; you notice a dirty table before a member does.\n\nFood-handler certificate (Dubai Municipality) is an advantage; we can arrange the training.\n\nFluent English; Arabic is a plus. Based in the UAE and able to start within four weeks.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3208,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Real Estate","Travel & Tourism","Vacation Rentals"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-11-02T09:27:32Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"AE","licensed_sponsor":false,"adverts_offering_sponsorship_24m":2,"sanctioned_now":false,"evidence":"Offered visa sponsorship in 2 of its adverts here in 24 months","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-11-08T10:45:15+00:00","sources":["Alion: sponsorship offered in the employer's own job adverts (24 months)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":5,"expected_fill_days":45,"reasons":["conf:2","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-11-08T05:47:12Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/deluxehomes-barista","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/deluxehomes-barista.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-08T22:54:58Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":47772,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-09T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.1,"usd":0.01,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":93545},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=93545"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fdeluxehomes-barista"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":2,"usd":0.2},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fdeluxehomes-barista"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.1,"usd":0.01},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fdeluxehomes-barista"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/deluxehomes-barista\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fdeluxehomes-barista"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3601687}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"deluxehomes.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3601687},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
