Job Purpose

The Real Estate Photographer is responsible for independently managing the full property photography workflow, from planning and capturing high-quality interior and exterior images to professional post-production and final delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of real estate and architectural photography, with a focus on accurate representation, professional composition, lighting, colour, and perspective.

Main Responsibilities

Real Estate Photography:

• Independently plan and execute professional photography shoots across Deluxe Holiday Homes' portfolio of properties.
• Capture high-end interior and exterior photography that accurately represents the quality, layout, features, and atmosphere of each property.
• Photograph villas, apartments, penthouses, amenities, facilities, outdoor areas, pools, views, and surrounding property features.
• Use professional composition, framing, perspective, lighting, and camera techniques to create visually compelling property imagery.
• Ensure photographs accurately communicate room proportions, spatial relationships, finishes, furniture, and architectural details.
• Identify and capture the strongest selling points of each property while maintaining an authentic representation.
• Adapt photography techniques to different property types, layouts, lighting conditions, and architectural styles. Technical Photography Standards
• Apply professional exposure techniques, including exposure bracketing and HDR workflows where required.
• Manage difficult lighting situations, including mixed lighting and high-contrast interiors.
• Achieve balanced window exposure while retaining interior detail and natural-looking exterior views.
• Use appropriate lighting techniques to produce clean, well-balanced, professional interior imagery.
• Apply accurate perspective and vertical-line control to prevent distortion and maintain architectural integrity.
• Ensure accurate colour reproduction and consistent white balance across property images.
• Maintain consistent visual quality, composition, exposure, colour, and style across the entire property portfolio.

Editing & Post-Production

• Professionally edit and retouch real estate photography using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Perform advanced exposure blending, HDR processing, colour correction, white balance, perspective correction, and image enhancement.
• Correct verticals, lens distortion, perspective, reflections, and other common real estate photography issues.
• Balance window views and interior exposure while maintaining a natural and realistic appearance.
• Remove distracting or unwanted elements where appropriate while preserving the property's authentic appearance.
• Ensure final images are clean, polished, sharp, consistent, and aligned with Deluxe Holiday Homes' visual standards.
• Prepare and export images according to the technical requirements of websites, booking platforms, marketing materials, and digital channels.
• Maintain an organized workflow for RAW files, edited images, final exports, and archived photography assets.

Shoot Planning & Property Coordination

• Coordinate and schedule photography shoots for new properties, updated listings, and properties requiring refreshed imagery.
• Coordinate with Property Management, Operations, Marketing, and other relevant teams to ensure properties are fully prepared before each shoot.
• Review each property before or during the shoot and identify the key spaces, features, and angles that should be captured.
• Manage shoot schedules efficiently and ensure photography assignments are completed within agreed timelines.
• Ensure all required permissions and approvals are obtained before photographing properties.
• Respect owner, guest, and property privacy during all photography activities.

Equipment & Professional Standards

• Maintain, organize, and safely operate professional cameras, lenses, tripods, lighting equipment, and other photography equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, charged, and ready before each shoot.
• Identify equipment requirements and report technical issues or replacement needs when necessary.
• Stay updated with professional real estate photography techniques, equipment, editing workflows, and industry standards.

Creative & Marketing Support

• Work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure property photography supports the company's brand and commercial objectives.
• Provide creative input on property presentation, photography concepts, and visual direction when required.
• Support occasional lifestyle, hospitality, or promotional photography assignments when needed.
• Videography and short-form content creation may be supported when required and are considered additional skills.
• Assist with other photography or marketing-related projects as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Requirements

• Mandatory: Proven professional experience in real estate, architectural, interior, property, or hospitality photography.
• Mandatory: Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality real estate/interior photography.
• Mandatory: Valid UAE driving licence, with the ability to regularly travel between properties across Dubai and the UAE.
• Strong technical understanding of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, exposure, composition, perspective, and architectural photography.
• Strong understanding of interior and exterior photography, including challenging lighting conditions and mixed-light environments.
• Proven ability to use exposure bracketing/HDR techniques and manage window exposure professionally.
• Strong understanding of perspective correction, vertical-line correction, lens distortion, and architectural accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of accurate colour reproduction, white balance, exposure, and consistent image finishing.
• Mandatory: Strong proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop for professional real estate image editing and retouching.
• Ability to independently manage the full workflow from shoot preparation and photography through editing, quality control, and final delivery.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for image quality and consistency.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Marketing, Creative, Operations, and Property teams.
• Flexible to work across different properties and locations according to business requirements.

Additional / Advantage Skills

• Videography and professional video editing.
• Experience creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other social platforms.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.
• Experience with drone photography/videography and relevant UAE permissions or certifications.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, holiday homes, hotels, or premium real estate.
