We are currently going through an exciting transformation, bringing accounting processes in-house from an external accounting firm. This creates a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to do more than manage day-to-day accounting and is excited about helping shape and build a modern finance function.\nIf you enjoy having an impact, taking ownership, improving processes, and building solutions that create long-term value, this role could be a great fit for you.\nYour Role\nYou will be a key member of the finance team, working closely with both local stakeholders and our U.S. headquarters. Beyond managing day-to-day accounting activities, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, standards, and tools that support the company's future growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nIndependently preparing VAT returns, JPK filings, and supporting the company's ongoing tax compliance activities.\nPreparing regulatory reports and submissions for GUS and NBP.\nParticipating in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.\nSupporting the preparation of statutory financial statements.\nPreparing management reports, financial analyses, and business performance insights.\nRecording and maintaining accounting transactions while ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.\nIssuing sales invoices and supporting related processes.\nCooperating with external auditors during audits and financial statement reviews.\nWorking closely with finance and business teams in the United States.\nPlaying an active role in transitioning accounting processes from an external accounting firm to the internal finance team.\nIdentifying opportunities for improvement and helping design efficient accounting and reporting processes.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for someone who:\nSpeaks Polish like a native \nHas several years of hands-on accounting experience and thrives in an independent role.\nHas practical experience with VAT, JPK reporting, and financial reporting requirements.\nCombines strong accounting expertise with a business-oriented mindset.\nEnjoys taking ownership and accountability for their area of responsibility.\nIs comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.\nCommunicates confidently in English.\nHas advanced Excel skills and is comfortable working within
