You will help develop software solutions supporting modern and highly complex hearing instrument systems in an international medical technology organisation.\nPurpose of the position\nAs a Software Developer, you will be part of an Agile team developing software solutions that integrate desktop and mobile applications with hearing instruments and related system components.\nYou will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, diagnostics and maintenance.\nQuality is a shared responsibility in our team. You will be expected to verify your own work, contribute actively to code reviews and help improve our codebase, testing practices and ways of working. culture that values equality, autonomy, and work-life balance\nWhat tasks are waiting for you?\nDesign, implement, test and maintain software solutions using C# and .NET. \nWrite clean, maintainable and testable code based on Clean Code and SOLID principles. \nTake ownership of quality through hands-on verification and automated testing. \nConduct code reviews and exchange constructive technical feedback. \nApply practices such as TDD, BDD and Agile Testing. \nWork with asynchronous and concurrent code, including async/await, multithreading, race conditions and deadlocks. \nInvestigate software issues using logs, perform root-cause analysis and resolve defects. \nReview requirements and contribute to technical and design decisions. \nUse AI-assisted development tools responsibly and verify generated code and answers. \nCollaborate with the team, participate in Agile activities and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation. \nIt would be great if you have:\nCommercial experience in software development and working with production software. \nSolid programming skills in C# and .NET. \nPractical knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID and automated testing. \nFamiliarity with TDD, BDD, Agile Testing or similar quality-focused practices. \nUnderstanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency. \nBasic knowledge of data structures, algorithms and computational complexity. \nAbility to investigate software issues using application logs. \nExperience using AI-assisted development tools and critically verifying their output. \nExperience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum or SAFe. \nGood written and spoken English. \nA respectful, collaborative approach and willingness to continuously develop your skills. \nA degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is welcome, but comparable practical experience is equally valuable. \nAdditional experience that will be an advantage\nBasic experience with UI development using WPF, XAML or .NET MAUI. \nMobile development or experience with the Apple ecosystem. \nFamiliarity with gRPC, Kubernetes, Docker, SignalR, cloud technologies or DevOps. \nKnowledge of communication
