Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat You Will Do In This Role:\nMaintain North American Networking Standard Work.\n\nMaintain Ethernet training program, including Hirschmann CT1, CT2, CP1, and CP2 classes.\n\nDevelop and maintain Industrial Ethernet and fieldbus networking standards.\n\nLead cross-functional Industrial Ethernet networking team to align Dematic groups.\n\nFacilitate network technical reviews.\n\nProvide network design assistance to project teams.\n\nProvide network design reviews and validation.\n\nProvide network troubleshooting assistance to project teams.\n\nConduit to Global Networking Architecture.\n\nNetwork design that incorporates cybersecurity.\n\nTeam Responsibilities:\nProvide a high level of expertise to projects - Technical support, problem resolution, leadership, and technical integration\n\nTechnical training to team members within the project engineering teams\n\nProvide expertise on system level drawings to ensure the engineering team is fulfilling all technical, Standard and regulatory requirements\n\nWork cross-functionally across disciplines and functions/departments\n\nPromote a culture of safety and compliance through open communication and empowerment\n\nIdentify opportunities and ideas to improve cost and efficiency.\n\nAssess appropriate disciplines and skillsets of resources to successfully deliver engineering content and documentation\n\nTravel up to 25% to project sites, customer meetings, support pre-sales activities, suppliers.\n\nWhat We are Looking for:\nExcellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.\n\nStrong leadership with ability to delegate tasks.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\n\nProficient customer-facing skills.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering(Network Engineering preferred).\n\n5+ years of successful experience as an Industrial Ethernet Network Engineer or related field.\n\nExperience with various industrial protocols including EtherNet/IP (EIP), CIP Safety, SafeLink, PROFINET, and PROFIsafe.\n\nKnowledge of Modbus TCP and EtherCAT is an asset.\n\nExperience designing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining Industrial Ethernet networks.\n\nProficient in advanced network design, including NAT, VLANs, firewalls, subnetting, routing, switching, monitoring, and firewall technologies.\n\nHirschmann Industrial Network Professional, Cisco CCNA Industrial, Siemens Profinet Certified Engineer, or equivalent credentials.\n\nTUV Rheinland Functional Safety of Machinery Engineer Certification or equivalent credentials is an asset.\n\nExperience with both Allen-Bradley PLCs and Siemens TIA Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is an asset.\n\nExperience in Material Handling/automation industry is an asset.\n\nExperience in an engineering position that is project-based is an asset.\n\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
