experience).\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat will you do in this role?\nDevelop project-specific approval layouts based on customer and sales input.\nTranslate complex project scopes into detailed system concepts and layouts.\nReview material flow, define special designs, and outline ergonomic workspaces.\nConduct mechanical safety assessments and define required safeguards.\nCollaborate with CE Compliance teams on risk assessments and site safety inspections.\nDesign and plan escape, transport, and maintenance access routes.\nCoordinate with structural, installation, and controls teams to ensure seamless integration.\nProvide technical expertise during customer meetings and engineering reviews.\nSupport interface definitions with suppliers and other trades.\nProduce detailed mechanical layouts, specifications, and installation drawings.\nDefine conveyor components (drives, belts, rollers, guides, platforms, etc.).\nPrepare comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs, SAP requisitions, and controls engineering data lists.\nProvide remote and on-site engineering support during installation.\nEnsure thorough technical handovers to installation and commissioning teams.\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducated to degree level (bachelor’s degree or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with a focus on application engineering.\n5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project engineering, ideally in a complex systems or industrial environment.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, and experience using SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools.\nDemonstrated ability to take ownership of engineering designs and technical decisions.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.\nA structured, methodical approach to engineering challenges.\nOutstanding problem-solving capabilities and a proactive attitude.\nAbility to work effectively within a diverse, multinational team across the EMEA region.\nFull working proficiency in English.\nWillingness to travel internationally for short and occasional trips (up to 10%).\n Bonus Points if you: Have experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Navisworks, SAP, or previous work in the intralogistics or material handling
