Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat you Will Do in This Role:\nUnderstand the design of complex systems that integrate material handling equipment, electrical controls, programming and software to estimate the mechanical equipment of complete solutions for customers\n\nUnderstand complex equipment specification, able to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and deliver appropriate follow-up of technical details\n\nComplete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement for customer satisfaction\n\nLead, create and modify proposal drawings for estimating purposes\n\nDevelop Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costing\n\nParticipate in providing estimates for semi-complex projects to the solution development team, engineering team and account management team\n\nPerform complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.\n\nExplain and discusses complex, unusual problems to other team members to provide proper mechanical solutions for customer requests\n\nCollaborate with key project & solution team stakeholders by hosting and supporting concept, technical and cost reviews.\n\nDemonstrated familiarity with Dematic’s current products and engineering processes\n\nSupport internal technical and cost reviews\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nBachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field\n\n5-10 years of successful experience as a project engineer, designing and commissioning automated material handling systems, including mechanical conveyor systems design and basic knowledge of electrical controls related to conveyor systems\n\nDemonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills\n\nMaterial Handling Equipment background with a focus on Case, Tote, and Pallet conveyance and Sorter mechanical equipment\n\nExperience creating solutions and generating estimates to support Sales requests\n\nProficient in AutoCAD and 3D design tools\n\nKnowledgeable in distribution center operations, logistics and automation
