With more than 1,100 colleagues worldwide, we are building the technology of tomorrow.\n\nWithin the Demcon group, Demcon Production is the partner for pre-production and series production of complex systems and innovative products.\n\nWhat are you going to do?\n\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you ensure that our production processes run smoothly from a technical perspective and continuously improve. You work closely with the production team, support operators, and tackle technical and process-related issues at their root cause. By doing so, you prevent recurring disruptions and make our production processes more stable, smarter and more efficient. In addition, you translate customer-driven product changes into our production processes.\n\nYour responsibilities include:\n\n Supporting and technically managing production lines and production processes;\n\n Analysing disruptions and implementing structural solutions;\n\n Improving tooling, work instructions and processes;\n\n Ensuring manufacturability and quality, while managing technical risks;\n\n Initiating and implementing improvements together with Production and other disciplines;\n\n Applying and optimising continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5S, 5 Why, RCA and PDCA.\n\nWhat do you bring to the table?\n\nYou are enthusiastic about technology and about what happens on the production floor. You enjoy working closely with the people who are involved in our production processes every day and get energy from finding practical solutions together that truly work.\n\nFurthermore, you:\n\n have completed a technical bachelor’s degree (HBO), for example in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Product Design or a similar field;\n\n have an affinity with production, assembly, machinery and technical production lines;\n\n have a practical mindset and enjoy tackling technical challenges;\n\n have strong analytical skills and look for the root cause to solve problems structurally;\n\n take responsibility and persevere until a problem is truly resolved;\n\n enjoy working with operators, engineers, Quality and other disciplines;\n\n identify opportunities for improvement and turn them into practical solutions;\n\n have an affinity with continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing.\n\nWhat do we offer you?\n\nAt Demcon, you work on technology that makes a difference.
