We are looking for a Project Document Controller to strengthen one of our offshore project teams in the Netherlands.You will be responsible for Document Control within the project and work closely with the Project Management Team, subcontractors and suppliers. You will ensure that documentation is managed correctly throughout the project lifecycle and that procedures and standards are consistently followed.\nYour responsibilities\nTake ownership of Document Control activities within the project.\nManage and maintain project documentation within the designated eDMS, such as Aconex or SharePoint.\nAct as a key point of contact for Document Control within the project team.\nWork closely with the Project Management Team, subcontractors and suppliers and ensure Document Control procedures are understood and followed.\nMaintain and adjust Document Control procedures throughout the different stages of the project lifecycle.\nReview documentation and ensure Document Control requirements and company standards are met.\nIdentify issues in documentation quality and take appropriate follow-up actions.\nControl, manage and transmit project documents between the different parties involved.\nMonitor outstanding actions, deadlines and documentation deliverables;\nProvide the Project Management Team with clear status reporting.\nGuide and support project team members, subcontractors and suppliers in using the implemented eDMS and Document Control processes.\nYour profile\nYou have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.\nYou have relevant professional experience in Document Control, preferably within a project-driven, engineering, construction or offshore environment. \nYou are familiar with electronic document management systems. Experience with Aconex and/or SharePoint is a strong asset.\nYou are comfortable taking ownership and working independently. \nYou have a strong eye for detail and quality.\nYou can set priorities and keep an overview when working with multiple deadlines and stakeholders. \nYou are confident communicating with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers. \nYou are proactive, structured and follow matters through to completion.\nYou are fluent in English.
