Based in Breda, you will combine tender leadership with client and partner development.You will manage the full opportunity and tender lifecycle, from market engagement and bid/no-bid assessment to submission and contract negotiation. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams for interconnector projects, including cable installation, landfalls, burial and protection works.\nYour responsibilities\nDevelop a strong pipeline of interconnector opportunities through market intelligence and client engagement.\nBuild relationships with transmission system operators, utilities, cable manufacturers, partners and subcontractors.\nLead opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid recommendations in line with DEME's strategy and risk appetite.\nTranslate client requirements and contractual conditions into a clear tender strategy and execution plan.\nLead multidisciplinary tender teams across Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, Procurement, QHSE and Project Controls.\nDrive technical concepts, schedules, cost estimates, pricing and commercial proposals.\nIdentify and manage key risks and opportunities throughout the internal review and approval process.\nCoordinate partners, suppliers and subcontractors, including commercial agreements.\nLead client clarifications, negotiations and contract finalisation with internal stakeholders.\nSupport an effective handover from tender to project execution.\nYour profile\nYou hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, marine technology, business or a related discipline.\nYou have at least 7 years of relevant experience in offshore energy, interconnectors, subsea cables, marine construction, tendering or business development.\nYou understand interconnector cable installation, landfalls, burial and protection; experience with high-voltage subsea cable projects is an asset.\nYou understand the commercial and contractual aspects of complex EPC, EPCI or marine installation projects.\nYou combine commercial awareness with technical curiosity and translate client needs into executable solutions.\nYou are a strong negotiator and communicator who works effectively across cultures and organisational levels.\nYou are structured, proactive and decisive, and can lead teams under demanding deadlines.\nYou are fluent in English and willing to travel when required.
