As a Trencher Operator you are responsible for the operation of trencher equipment on board of our off-shore cable laying vessels.Your responsibilities\nYou ensure that the operation is performed with the highest efficiency possible in accordance with the equipment capabilities, task plans, procedures and applicable requirements.\n\nYou follow the Shift Supervisors instructions.\n\nYou assist Shift Supervisor in mobilization & demobilization and project preparations.\n\nYou operate the trencher as per manufacturers manuals and instructions.\n\nYou ensure that planned maintenance is done and recorded in coordination with Shift Supervisor.\n\nYou ensure that the basic equipment repairs and replacements are done in coordination with Shift Supervisor.\n\nYou ensure that pre checks are completed before operations.\n\nYou ensure the equipment is utilized in line with applicable procedures and relevant site/inspection.\n\nYou maintain a daily maintenance, fault and improvement log.\n\nYou inform the Shift Supervisor when equipment is not functioning as required and/or intended.\n\nYou inform the Shift Supervisor when processes are not running as required and/or intended.\n\nYou actively support DEME QHSE Policies and values.\n\nYou ensure compliance with the Project HSE Plan applicable to the works.\n\nYou execute Operations in a safe, and technically sound way, such that technical requirements are attained.\n\nYou participate in HIRA meetings.\n\nYou maintain safe working practices and a high level of safety awareness.\n\nYour profile\nKnowledge of Hydraulic Systems (MBO Level 3-4)\n\nKnowledge ofElectronics (MBO Level 3-4)\n\nBy preference, you have some work experience in the maritime/offshore field\n\nYou are communicative and problem
