You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues.We are currently looking for an experienced Works Manager who can manage (large) offshore subsea cable installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.\nTogether we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.\nYour responsibilities\nYou organize the planning of the works.\n\nYou will be focusing on the optimization and execution of our subsea cable installation projects.\n\nYou'll take care of the client’s needs (internal and external).\n\nYou contribute to efficient realization of the project activities.\n\nYou organize the planning of the works.\n\nYou manage QHSE-S standards and keep the project within time and budget.\n\nYou work closely together with Superintendents and Project Engineers on site and you coordinate the operational staff.\n\nYour profile\nYou have a master degree in (Civil) Engineering, preferably with a specialization in construction, or the equivalent by experience.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience with complex offshore engineering projects is required.\n\nYou can work autonomously and are a problem-solver by nature.\n\nYou have a hands-on mentality.\n\nTeamwork is one thing you value highly.\n\nWorking abroad on one of our projects for a longer period of time is no issue.\n\nEnglish is our common language.
