This hands-on role combines resolving complex second and third line issues with overseeing day-to-day Service Desk activity, mentoring a colleague and supporting infrastructure, security, applications and modern workplace projects.\nAs a key technical escalation point, you’ll help keep our systems, devices, networks and cloud services secure, reliable and running smoothly across Kent, South East London and East Sussex.\nThis role would suit an experienced IT technician ready to take on greater responsibility, or someone already working at a senior level. You’ll bring strong hands-on experience across Microsoft cloud services, endpoint management, networks and incident resolution, with the confidence to own complex work and support others.\nWhat you’ll be doing\n Working with the IT Infrastructure and Network Manager, IT Technician and specialist suppliers, you’ll:\nown complex incidents through to resolution, coordinating colleagues and suppliers where needed\nhelp prioritise Service Desk activity, improve ticket quality and keep users informed\ninvestigate recurring issues, identify root causes and document lasting fixes\ncoach the IT Technician and share knowledge across the team\nsupport and administer Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Windows endpoints, servers, SharePoint and remote access\ntroubleshoot networks, firewalls, switches, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and IP connectivity\nstrengthen patching, device compliance, multifactor authentication and Conditional Access\ncontribute to technical projects, migrations, testing and go-live activity\nidentify practical opportunities for automation, standardisation and service improvement\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nYou’ll combine strong technical skills with a calm, practical and people-focused approach.\nYou’ll have strong second- and third-line experience across Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Windows and networks, with a sound understanding of incident management and cyber security.\nYou’ll value reliability, share knowledge and look for ways to improve services.\nYou’ll need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use, or reliable transport arrangements, as the role involves travel across Demelza sites in Kent, East Sussex and South London.\nWant to know more?\nIf you’re looking for a senior technical role where you can bring your experience, support colleagues, improve services and contribute to meaningful work every day, we’d love to hear from you.\nFor an informal conversation about the role, please contact Warren Tarditi, IT Infrastructure and Network Manager on 07919 324938.\n Closing date: Tuesday 3rd November (23:59)\n Interview date: Thursday 12th November (pm) / Friday 13th November\n\nDemelza greatly values the benefits of a diverse team and embraces diversity, equality, and inclusion in all areas of its work.
