We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Field Service Controller to join our Aftermarket team!\nThis is a fast-paced role where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and engineers, managing breakdowns, scheduling repairs, and ensuring smooth service delivery from start to finish.\nKey Responsibilities:\nHandle incoming calls and coordinate field service activities\nLog breakdowns and job details accurately in central systems\nCommunicate engineer attendance and updates to customers\nPrioritise vehicle-off-road (VOR) cases and escalate major issues\nManage warranty and chargeable field repairs, including job numbers and parts coordination\nLiaise with third-party repair providers and monitor progress\nCollate and finalise engineer documentation and reports\nUpdate job progress and KPIs, and submit warranty claims\nMaintain high standards of service administration and compliance\nIdeal Candidate:\nPrevious experience in a similar role, ideally within the motor trade\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nTechnical understanding of vehicle components\nExcellent planning and organisational abilities\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nCalm under pressure with a logical approach to problem-solving\nGCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)\nKnowledge of the refuse industry and engineer planning is a bonus\nIf you’re ready to take control and make a difference in field service operations, we’d love to hear from you!\nWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
