We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our Aftermarket team!\nThis is a mobile role where you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining specialist vehicles at customer sites and company workshops. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDiagnose and repair faults on vehicle chassis and mounted equipment\nCarry out servicing and maintenance to a high standard\nPrepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with Department Of Transport specifications\nUse diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues\nLog all work using PDA software and maintain accurate service records\nTravel to customer sites across the UK, sometimes at short notice\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment at all times\nCommunicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service\nSupport health and safety practices and complete risk assessments as required\nIdeal Candidate:\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance\nPrevious experience in a similar role (Field Service, HGV Mechanic, Workshop Engineer)\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills\nKnowledge of vehicle technology systems and compliance standards\nComfortable working independently and managing your own workload\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nFlexible with working hours and willing to travel\nGeneral computer literacy and ability to complete technical documentation\nExperience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or HGV Class 2 licence is a bonus\nIf you’re ready to take your engineering career on the road, we’d love to hear from you!\nWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
