Rather than long-distance driving, you’ll be supporting our day-to-day operation by moving vehicles safely between our Warwick site and local off-site storage locations, as well as shunting vehicles around our factory and yard. It’s a varied, practical role where you’ll help make sure vehicles are moved, checked and stored safely and efficiently.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nDriving vehicles between our Warwick site and local storage locations.\nMoving and shunting vehicles around the factory and yard.\nInspecting vehicles for damage or defects before collection and delivery.\nMaking sure vehicles are handled and stored safely.\nCompleting the necessary vehicle paperwork accurately.\nFollowing road transport legislation, site rules and safety procedures.\nKeeping vehicles clean and presentable and reporting any defects.\nWorking with colleagues across Production and other teams to support the day-to-day movement of vehicles. \nWhat we’re looking for\nYou’ll need:\nA current HGV Class 2 licence.\nPrevious experience driving HGVs.\nExperience in a similar role involving the delivery or movement of HGVs.\nA good understanding of relevant road transport legislation.\nThe ability to organise your workload and complete documentation accurately.\nClear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.\nFlexibility to support other appropriate activities when required.\nAvailability to work overtime when necessary.\nA current CPC, knowledge of UK roads, basic mechanical awareness and familiarity with refuse collection vehicles would be useful, but aren't listed as essential requirements for the role.\nIf you have HGV driving experience and you're looking for a local, varied role where you'll work closely with a production operation, we'd love to hear from you.\nWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
