This is a hands-on role where you'll use your technical expertise to diagnose faults, solve problems and deliver high-quality work that keeps vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.\nWhat you'll be doing\nDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on chassis and mounted equipment\nServicing and maintaining vehicles to industry and company standards\nPreparing vehicles for MOT inspections and completing quality checks\nCarrying out body, chassis and hydraulic repairs as required\nUsing diagnostic tools and systems to identify and resolve issues\nCompleting job records accurately and updating workshop systems\nWorking closely with customers to provide a professional service\nFollowing health, safety and quality procedures at all times\nSupporting continuous improvement through ongoing technical training and development\nWhat we're looking for\nLevel 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance (or equivalent)\nExperience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills\nKnowledge of vehicle electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems\nAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams\nA proactive approach to problem solving\nGood communication and customer service skills\nAbility to work independently and manage your workload effectively\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience working on refuse collection vehicles or similar specialist vehicles\nExperience with electric vehicles\nIRTEC accreditation or manufacturer training\nHGV Class 2 licence\nExperience using workshop management systems\nReady to put your skills to work on vehicles that make a real difference every day?
