We’re looking for a skilled and dependable HGV Technician to join our Aftermarket team.\nThis hands-on role is ideal for someone who values doing a job well, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to be part of a supportive team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing refuse collection vehicles, helping ensure they’re safe, compliant, and ready to serve our customers.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDiagnose faults and carry out repairs on chassis and mounted equipment\nService vehicles to VOSA standards and support preparation for MOT inspections\nComplete body and chassis repairs in line with Department of Transport specifications\nMaintain accurate records and update job information in company systems\nBuild positive relationships with customers, including working independently at customer sites\nEnsure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard\nFollow health and safety procedures and carry out risk assessments as required\nTake part in training and development to build your skills and knowledge\nAbout You:\nNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance\nExperience in commercial vehicle repair and servicing\nConfident in diagnosing faults and identifying effective solutions\nUnderstanding of electronics, hydraulics, and wiring diagrams\nStrong communication and customer service skills\nComfortable working independently and managing your own workload\nWillingness to travel and work flexibly, including overtime when needed\nExperience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or an HGV Class 2 licence would be an advantage\nIf you’re looking for a role where you can grow your skills, feel part of a team, and make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!\nWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
