We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality team, helping to ensure products meet the highest standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with production teams, engineers and suppliers to identify issues, maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement.\nWhat you'll be doing\nInspecting parts, materials and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process, from goods inwards through to finished products.\nCarrying out inspections on welded fabrications, assemblies and painted components against drawings and specifications. \nRecording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation. \nConducting in-process quality audits and supporting compliance activities.\nAnalysing quality data, identifying trends and feeding back improvement opportunities.\nSupporting investigations and helping resolve quality concerns alongside Production Coordinators and Engineers. \nAssisting with the inspection and testing of finished vehicles when required.\nA role with real ownership\nThis isn't a role where you'll simply follow a checklist.You'll have the autonomy to take ownership of quality within your area, making decisions that help ensure products meet the required standards before progressing through production. You'll be trusted to confirm product quality, support the resolution of issues and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the right outcome.We're looking for someone with a practical, can-do attitude and the tenacity to see issues through to resolution. You'll play an important role in ensuring that quality concerns do not impact the design integrity, performance or visible quality of components, sub-assemblies or finished vehicles.\nWhat we're looking for\nYou don't need to tick every box, but we'd love to hear from you if you have:\nExperience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience inspecting fabricated, welded or assembled products.\nThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nExperience using measuring equipment to verify dimensions and product compliance.\nKnowledge of welding and fabrication processes.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to work.\nThe confidence to communicate quality concerns clearly and constructively.\nA proactive approach and a willingness to challenge issues in a positive and professional way.\nIf you enjoy solving problems, improving processes and taking pride in delivering high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.\nWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
