Role: Welder Location: Blackpool, FY4 4NW Hours: 37 hours per week | between 07:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday Hourly rate: up to £18.43 p/hr DOE Put your welding and fabrication skills into something you can see take shape We’re looking for an experienced Welder Fitter to join our Production team at Dennis Eagle in Blackpool. You’ll manufacture, assemble, fit and weld mild and stainless steel components and structures, working from engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality work. What you’ll be doing MIG welding mild steel and stainless steel. Preparing materials and joints ready for welding. Building and tack welding fabrications from engineering drawings before completing the final weld. Assembling and fitting fabricated components and structures. Working with medium to heavy steel fabrication, typically 2mm to 10mm. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions. Visually checking completed welds and correcting defects where needed. Making sure finished components meet the required specifications and quality standards. Following welding procedures and working safely, including the correct use of PPE
