This is a great opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician who enjoys leading by example, supporting colleagues and helping to keep our workshop operating safely and efficiently. Working closely with the Workshop Controller, you'll combine hands-on vehicle maintenance with day-to-day support of workshop operations. You'll help coordinate workloads, maintain high-quality standards and ensure our customers' vehicles are repaired and serviced safely and efficiently.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nServicing, maintaining and repairing HGV and refuse collection vehicles.\n\nFault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.\n\nMOT preparation and chassis/body repairs.\n\nSupporting the organisation and day-to-day running of the workshop.\n\nPromoting safe working practices and excellent housekeeping standards.\n\nEnsuring work is completed to DVSA and company standards.\n\nWhat we're looking for:\nExperience maintaining and repairing HGVs or similar commercial vehicles.\n\nStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.\n\nKnowledge of DVSA regulations and workshop compliance requirements.\n\nCity & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.\n\nAn HGV licence.\n\nA proactive approach and a commitment to quality and safety.\n\nThe ability to support and motivate others within a busy workshop environment.\n\nPrevious supervisory experience and experience working on refuse collection vehicles would be advantageous but aren't essential.\nReady to take the next step in your career?
