Reporting into the legal team, you'll run the full contract lifecycle - intake, drafting, redlining, approval, execution, and obligation tracking - across vendor, services, and supply-chain agreements. You'll handle volume independently so our counsel can stay focused on the complex technology and foundry transaActions, and you'll build the templates, playbooks, and systems that let contracting scale as the company grows.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nOwn the contract lifecycle end to end - intake, drafting, redlining, routing for approval, execution, and post-signature obligation tracking\nDraft and negotiate high-volume agreements from templates: NDAs, vendor and services agreements, SOWs, purchase terms, and amendments\nSupport counsel on semiconductor supply-chain agreements - foundry, OSAT, and contract manufacturing (MSAs, MPAs, capacity and pricing, NRE/tooling)\nBuild and maintain the contract repository, template set, clause library, and negotiation playbooks\nStand up and administer CLM tooling; define intake and approval workflows with legal, finance, and supply chain\nTrack obligations, renewals, expirations, and deliverables; surface risk and escalate to counsel\nPartner with supply chain, finance, engineering, and GTM to unblock deals and keep cycle times down\nUse and develop AI-assisted tool flows to accelerate drafting, review, and contract reporting\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n5+ years managing commercial contracts in-house, at a law firm, or in a contracts or procurement function\nHands-on drafting and redlining of NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and vendor and services agreements\nDemonstrated ownership of a contract lifecycle end to end, including post-signature obligation management\nWorking knowledge of CLM platforms (Ironclad, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, LinkSquares, or equivalent) and e-signature workflows\nStrong organizational discipline - you keep a high-volume queue moving without dropping obligations\nComfortable operating independently in a fast-moving startup and building process where none exists\n(Optional) Semiconductor, hardware, or supply-chain contracting; foundry, OSAT, or contract-manufacturing agreements; export-control awareness (EAR/ITAR); data privacy and DPAs; paralegal certification or JD; experience supporting an early-stage legal team\nFull compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications. \nCalifornia pay range\n$250,000—$300,000 USD\nCompensation\nFinal offers depend on level, location, and skills relevant to the role.
