You will manage system availability, automate operational tasks, and enhance service reliability. You will be working on a global team that will ensure system reliability and performance. Together, this team will provide 24/7 emergency and second- and third-level support for products, restoring services as quickly as possible by taking immediate action when downtime occurs.\n*This role will require you to work out of our Waltham, MA office multiple days.\nPrimary Job Responsibilites:\nTechnical Implementation & Development\nDevelop automation scripts to reduce manual intervention in operations\nImplement monitoring and alerting strategies for infrastructure and applications\nParticipate in incident response and post-mortem analyses\nWork with development teams to design resilient systems and implement SRE best practices\nProject Scope & Complexity\nHandle infrastructure reliability tasks and small-scale automation efforts independently\nCommunication & Impact\nWork with development and operations teams to improve service availability \nLeadership & Growth\nMentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reliability engineering\nQualifications:\nEducation\nBS or MS in Computer Science, IT or a related field\nYears and Type of Experience\n2-4 years of work experience in a Site Reliability Engineering/ Platform Engineering/ DevOps role or similar\nKey Skills, Knowledge, & Capabilities\nInfrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)\nMonitoring and observability (Datadog, Grafana)\nCI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Flux, ArgoCD)\nContainerization (Kubernetes, Docker)\nCloud architecture (GCP, AWS)\nIncident management\nTroubleshooting\nProgramming language proficiency (Go, C++, Python)\nFluent in English; knowledge of German is beneficial\nThe base salary for this role located in Massachusetts is between $115,000 - $130,000.
