Workday Security Product Ownership\nOwn the overall Workday Security product roadmap, strategy, and governance.\nDefine and maintain security principles, standards, and operating procedures.\nPrioritize security enhancements, remediation activities, and technical debt within the Workday backlog.\nAct as the primary security SME and escalation point for Workday.\nPartner with Product Owners and functional teams to ensure security is embedded into Workday solution design.\n2. Workday Security Architecture & Configuration\nDesign, configure, and govern:Role-Based Security Groups\nUser-Based Security Groups\nDomain Security Policies\nBusiness Process Security Policies\nSegmentation\nOrganization-based security\nConstrained/unconstrained security\nIntegration System Users and integration security\nWorkday reporting security\n\nReview and approve security changes associated with new Workday functionality, integrations, reports, and business processes.\nEnsure appropriate least-privilege access and segregation of duties.\nConduct security impact assessments for Workday releases and major changes.\n3. IT Controls / JSOX / Audit\nOwn Workday security controls supporting ITGC, JSOX/SOX and internal/external audits.\nCoordinate periodic User Access Reviews (UAR) and Role-Based Security Reviews.\nEnsure appropriate evidence is produced and retained for audit requirements.\nPartner with Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk, and external auditors.\nIdentify security control gaps and drive remediation through to closure.\nMaintain security control documentation, control narratives, RACI and evidence requirements.\n4. Access Governance\nEstablish and govern processes for:Joiner/Mover/Leaver access\nElevated/privileged access\nTemporary access\nService accounts and ISUs\nSecurity group ownership\nPeriodic access certification\n\nMonitor inappropriate or excessive access and ensure timely remediation.\nEstablish appropriate approval workflows for sensitive Workday access.\n5.
