Merkle is an agency of dentsu.\nAs Senior Associate, Customer Lifecycle Marketing, you will join a team of talented and experienced marketers who focus on helping Merkle clients achieve their our goals.\nYou will plan strategy, with a focus on first party data-driven channels (email, SMS, direct mail, push notifications). You will help develop and manage campaign strategies that produce measurable return on investment and you'll work across multiple vertical markets (Insurance, Financial Services, Non-Profit, Retail, Automotive, Travel, Media and Entertainment, B2B, High-tech).\nTo be successful in this role you need to have a deep passion for finding solutions, and an understanding of how businesses, brands and customers interact, with an advanced understanding of the always evolving role that data and technology play in this relationship. You know how to identify business growth opportunities and develop recommendations to help group client relationships.\nYou Will:\nBuild, develop, and deliver messaging strategy for omni-channel marketing plans using 1st party data.\nBe a subject matter expert and be able to translate new technology - focused on areas of messaging and CRM - into new marketing ideas for the client.\nShow an understanding of differences in marketing to customers in different industries and environments.\nEnsure meaningful client value is delivered through a mix of best-practice solutions, capabilities, and original thinking.\nWrite campaign briefs to hand off to creative and execution teams.\nCollaborate and develop relationships with internal Merkle teams (account management, operations, creative, analytics), and partner agencies to understand the feasibility of cross-channel recommendations/ plans.\nIdentify main data points and measurements to show the impact of our approach and strategy on our client's business.\nYou Have:\nBachelor's Degree required\n4+ years' experience in data-driven marketing - specifically CRM/ email / direct mail / SMS / push\nHands-on skills using data and research to guide decisions (proficiency in excel maintaining complex spreadsheets and research tools is advantageous)\nExperience with client-facing communication (writing and presentations) \nExperience translating data analysis into applicable marketing recommendations and presentations - proficiency in PowerPoint (advantageous)\nPrior experience incorporating internal and external feedback on an iterative basis.\nExperience using business knowledge to identify new business and marketing opportunities.\nSalesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze experience (advantageous)\nExperience working on several projects simultaneously that are delivered on time, as well as networking and the ability work with a diverse team.\nComfort and experience working within a matrixed organization in roles with a wide degree of latitude.\n20-40% travel\nThe annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$85,000.
