The role involves defining scalable, secure, and high-performing commerce solutions, driving modernization initiatives, establishing technical governance, and providing architectural leadership across multi-site and multi-locale implementations.\nThe ideal candidate will have deep SFCC expertise, strong integration architecture experience, and hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, deployment automation, release governance, and code quality practices.\nResponsibilities\nDefine end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations and enhancements.\nLead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and architectural decision-making.\nDesign scalable storefront, API, integration, and data exchange solutions.\nProvide architectural guidance for SFRA, SiteGenesis, OCAPI, SCAPI, and Headless Commerce implementations.\nDefine integration strategies for payment, OMS, tax, fulfilment, analytics, and customer experience platforms.\nDesign and govern multi-site and multi-locale commerce solutions for global business operations.\nEstablish architecture standards, coding practices, technical governance, and code quality processes.\nDefine and maintain CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, deployment automation, and release management processes using Bitbucket and equivalent tools.\nImplement and monitor code quality standards using SonarQube or equivalent tools and automated quality gates.\nOversee environment management, deployment planning, release readiness, and production rollout activities.\nEnsure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability requirements.\nConduct architecture, technical design, and code reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices.\nDrive root cause analysis and resolution of complex production, platform, and integration issues.\nLead modernization initiatives involving API-first, Headless Commerce, and composable architecture.\nMentor developers, senior developers, and technical leads while providing technical guidance to distributed teams.\nCollaborate with business, product, engineering, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.\nMaintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and technical standards.\nMust-Have\n10+ years of overall software engineering and commerce platform experience.\n6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience.\nStrong expertise in SFCC architecture, storefront development, and platform capabilities.\nHands-on experience with SFRA, SiteGenesis (legacy components), OCAPI, SCAPI, Service Framework, and Jobs Framework.\nExperience designing multi-site and multi-locale commerce architectures.\nStrong integration architecture experience, including payment integrations, REST APIs, and web services.\nStrong understanding of API-first architecture principles and enterprise integration patterns.\nExperience with solution design, architecture governance, technical design reviews, and code reviews.\nStrong knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices.\nExperience defining and governing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, source code management, branching strategies, and release management.\nExperience with Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines or equivalent CI/CD tools, and Managed Runtime deployments.\nExperience implementing code quality, security, and governance practices using SonarQube or equivalent tools.\nProven technical leadership, architecture decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.\nExcellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and collaboration skills.\nSalesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification.\nSalesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification.\nGood-to-Have\nExperience with Headless Commerce and composable commerce architecture.\nKnowledge of Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture and PWA Kit.\nExperience with OMS integrations, preferably Sterling OMS.\nExposure to search and merchandising platforms, analytics, tagging, performance monitoring, and observability tools.\nExperience integrating fraud prevention, tax, shipping, and fulfilment platforms.\nUnderstanding of AI-enabled commerce architectures and integration patterns.\nExperience evaluating AI-powered personalization, search, recommendations, and customer engagement solutions.\nRetail and omnichannel commerce experience.\nExperience supporting large-scale global eCommerce modernization initiatives. \nLocation:\nDGS India -
