As a Senior Connection Planner at dentsu, you’ll turn audience behaviour, data, culture, and business objectives into clear thinking on where, when, and how brands should connect with people. You’ll work with Strategy, Investment, Creative, Data, and clients to turn that thinking into plans that make sense for both people and the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Turn business objectives, audience behaviour, and insight into connection strategies and media plans.
- Figure out the role of channels, audiences, moments, and touchpoints, and how they should work together.
- Use research and data to make clear recommendations on where media investment can work hardest.
- Work with Investment, Creative, Strategy, Data, and other specialists to turn the thinking into connected, effective plans.
- Bring your thinking into client conversations and make recommendations that are clear, relevant, and worth acting on.
- Keep exploring what’s changing across culture, technology, AI, platforms, and consumer behaviour, and bring the useful stuff into the work.
A bit about you
- At least 4 years of experience in media planning, connection planning, communications planning, or a similar role within a media or integrated agency.
- You understand audiences, channels, research, and planning, and know how to connect the dots.
- You’re comfortable with data, but you’re not just reporting numbers. You use them to form a point of view.
- You like getting into the why behind the brief and finding a smarter way to solve it.
- You’re confident working with clients and different teams, and comfortable speaking up when you see a better opportunity.
- You care about the thinking behind the plan and want your work to shape decisions, not just fill the boxes.
