In collaboration with IT, this individual provides oversight into the installation and management of security technology. DHHA security technology includes, but is not limited to access control, CCTV, duress buttons, and infant protection. Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand how technology can improve the security of our staff, patients, and visitors. Ensures that technology fits into the security program's priorities and operations. \nEssential Functions:\n Works collaboratively with the department administrative team to execute on program goals and objectives. (15%) \n Provides logistical coordination and support for installation of new hardware. (15%) \n Manages badging and key workflows as dictated by department need (10%) \n Offers creative ideas on how to improve existing technology, reduce cost, and/or ideas for new security program opportunities. (10%) \n Performs audits on existing systems to ensure functionality and to meet any regulations. (10%) \n Works with the SOC to ensure appropriate and continuous monitoring of technologies. (10%) \n Effectively communicates and educates staff on security technology. (10%) \n Reports to leadership or committee on status of security systems when requested. (10%) \n Responds to internal inquiries about operations and fiscal procedures, data sources, mechanisms, and tracking tools.
