You will work closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to validate AI features, services, and integrations that power our products. Reporting to the Vice President of Quality, this role will be instrumental in shaping the team’s future and supporting Deposco’s growth.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nEngage in requirements and project meetings to fully understand goals and deliverables\n\nReview and analyze project requirements to pinpoint gaps and ensure they are suitable for creating test cases\n\nDesign and maintain automated tests using Java or Python for our omnichannel solutions\n\nEmploy automated testing tools for RESTful services connected to marketplace integrations\n\nIdentify marketplace-specific use cases, performing manual tests when necessary, while progressing toward automation\n\nDevelop automated acceptance and unit tests within an agile environment\n\nUtilize Jenkins and other CI tools for automation of development, build, deployment, and testing workflows\n\nCollaborate closely with product owners as part of a Scrum team to clarify requirements\n\nExamine test results from a technical perspective and provide detailed feedback to the development team\n\nAssist in troubleshooting production issues through coordinated testing and support efforts\n\nCreate essential QA documentation, including test plans, scripts, strategies, and requirement traceability matrices\n\nNitty Gritty (What You’ll Need):\nFour-year degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred\n\n2+ years experience in software quality testing\n\n2+ years of Agile Experience\n\n2 years Python Experience preferred\n\nExperience in integration platforms preferred\n\nThorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, design, and testing, with hands-on experience in modern testing methodologies and tools\n\nProficient in working with JSON and XML message formats\n\nFamiliarity with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence\n\nExperience working in agile environments and using continuous integration tools such as GitHub\n\nSolid knowledge of relational databases, with the ability to write MySQL queries to validate test results\n\nPractical exposure to RESTful automation tools\n\nCompetence in at least one object-oriented programming language; scripting skills are an added advantage\n\nCapable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines\n\nStrong analytical and organizational abilities, with aptitude for handling multiple projects simultaneously\n\nDemonstrates initiative, accountability, and ownership of projects and quality assurance activities\n\nPerks\nBe part of an energetic team that is serious about delivering software to customers and cultivating our culture.
