You will work closely with development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, and business teams to diagnose and resolve production issues, support application deployments, enhance monitoring and observability capabilities, and improve operational readiness across the technology landscape.\nThis role provides the opportunity to work with modern technologies across cloud platforms, enterprise messaging systems, distributed applications, automation initiatives, and enterprise observability solutions. You will contribute to operational excellence by improving reliability, reducing operational risk, strengthening disaster recovery capabilities, and supporting applications that are essential to DTCC’s day-to-day business operations and strategic technology transformation efforts.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nProvide production support for mission-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, production defects, service disruptions, and application issues\nMonitor application, infrastructure, integration, and messaging platform health using enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability tools and respond proactively to alerts and operational events\nPerform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis across application, database, middleware, messaging, cloud, and infrastructure layers to identify and resolve recurring issues\nPartner with development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational challenges\nMaintain and continuously improve support documentation, operational procedures, knowledge articles, and production runbooks to ensure effective support coverage and knowledge sharing\nSupport application deployments, production releases, vendor upgrades, configuration changes, and implementation activities across development, pre-production, and production environments\nExecute Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), resiliency testing, and failover procedures during planned exercises and unplanned production events\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks, improve recovery times, reduce operational risk, and enhance operational efficiency\nSupport audit requests, operational controls, compliance activities, and governance requirements in accordance with regulatory and enterprise standards\nPartner with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to improve application reliability, supportability, operational readiness, and production performance\nExecute day-to-day support activities in alignment with established risk, control, governance, and compliance frameworks\nProvide support coverage during APAC business hours as required and collaborate with global support teams to ensure seamless operational coverage\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\n8-10 years of relevant experience in Application Support, Production Support, Software Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related technical roles, ideally within Financial Services, Capital Markets, Securities Processing, FinTech, or other highly regulated industries\nBachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience\nExperience supporting business-critical applications in complex production environments\nProven ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple technology layers, including applications, databases, middleware, messaging platforms, and infrastructure\nExperience working in fast-paced operational environments requiring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nTalents Needed for Success:\nExperience supporting Java/J2EE-based enterprise applications\nStrong Oracle database and SQL troubleshooting skills\nExperience working in Linux/Unix environments, with basic networking and infrastructure troubleshooting skills\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar platforms\nHands-on experience supporting IBM MQ, Kafka, or other enterprise messaging technologies\nExperience with integration technologies such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB), ACE, or related middleware platforms\nExperience working with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments, including cloud-native or hybrid technology environments\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized application environments\nKnowledge of application resiliency, disaster recovery, and high-availability concepts\nUnderstanding of ITIL practices including Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management\nExperience supporting application deployments, production releases, environment upgrades, and operational readiness activities\nStrong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues\nAbility to collaborate effectively across development, infrastructure, business, and support organizations\nExperience driving operational improvements through automation, monitoring enhancements, and process optimization\nExposure to blockchain technologies, digital asset platforms, and distributed systems\nExposure to AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar productivity and engineering tools\nWe offer top class training and development for you to be an asset in our organization!\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
