This role will be central to enabling standardized, secure, and repeatable environment provisioning for application and platform teams.\nThe individual will help mature cloud platform engineering by creating reusable Terraform modules, delivery patterns, and automation workflows that accelerate provisioning while aligning with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and operational standards\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code patterns for AWS services. \nBuild standardized AWS infrastructure blueprints for common workload archetypes, including compute, networking, security, storage, messaging, and observability components. \nImplement secure and scalable AWS environments using services such as VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager, and related platform services. \nIntegrate Terraform automation with CI/CD pipelines, source control, policy-as-code, security scanning, and enterprise change management workflows. \nEnable self-service infrastructure provisioning through reusable modules, templates, APIs, and platform automation workflows. \nDevelop and maintain Terraform state management, module versioning, release practices, and environment promotion standards. \nImplement cloud security guardrails including IAM least privilege, encryption, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, and compliance controls. \nCollaborate with platform, cloud, application, security, and operations teams to align solutions with architecture standards and enterprise technology governance. \nTroubleshoot complex AWS and Terraform deployment issues across development, test, and production environments. \nEstablish best practices for infrastructure such as code, cloud provisioning, tagging, cost optimization, resiliency, and operational readiness.\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\n7+ years of cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related technology delivery experience. \nStrong hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS infrastructure in enterprise environments. \nAdvanced Terraform experience, including reusable module development, remote state management, workspaces, providers, variables, outputs, and module versioning. \nExperience integrating Terraform with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar pipeline technologies. \nStrong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security services, compute platforms, managed databases, storage, monitoring, and resiliency patterns. \nExperience with Git-based workflows, code review practices, automated testing, and infrastructure release management. \nExperience implementing security, compliance, and governance controls using infrastructure as code and policy-as-code practices. \nStrong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages. \nSolid understanding of cloud operating models, landing zone concepts, account structures, environment provisioning, and reusable infrastructure blueprints.\nTalents Needed for Success:\nExperience with Kubernetes or OpenShift on AWS, including EKS or ROSA/OpenShift integration patterns. \nExperience with Terraform Cloud, Terraform Enterprise, Atlantis, Terragrunt, Open Policy Agent, Sentinel, Checkov, Tfsec, or comparable IaC governance tools. \nAWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or AWS Security Specialty are preferred. \nFamiliarity with platform engineering operating models, self-service provisioning, golden paths, and developer experience enablement. \nExperience in large-scale enterprise environments with complex governance, security, resiliency, and integration requirements. \nFinancial services experience is preferred but not required\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
