You will collaborate with a dynamic and highly skilled team to design, secure and operate mission-critical cloud environments, including landing zones, networking, governance and Kubernetes, using Terraform and automation-first practices. At the forefront of innovation in the financial markets, you will help strengthen the resiliency and security of our platform and play a key role in growing our U.S. engineering presence.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nOperate and extend the Azure environment supporting Digital Assets today and build the foundation for additional workloads migrating to Azure\nImplement and operate the Azure landing zone to the established standard, including subscription and resource group structure, tagging, and cost allocation\nImplement governance in code through Azure Policy and Management Groups, and own the remediation work when the estate drifts out of compliance\nConfigure and operate Entra ID in production, and carry out the identity translation when workloads move from on-premises or AWS, with no regression in security posture at cutover\nOperate the compute and networking fabric in production, and diagnose faults across the path, including private endpoints and DNS resolution for migrated workloads\nMaintain the security posture of the estate: manage Wiz findings, drive vulnerability remediation to closure, and operate privileged access through PIM in line with regulatory requirements\nOwn the Terraform for your area and the pipelines that deploy them, applying the same rigor expected of application code\nParticipate in on-call rotation, run the root cause analysis, and automate the fix so the condition stops recurring\n\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum 6 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nDeployed and operated an Azure landing zone in production, including subscription structure, policy baseline, and hybrid connectivity\nMigrated workloads into Azure, from identity translation through network path validation to production cutover\nImplemented Azure Policy at scale in code, and worked the remediation that follows\nOperated AKS in production, including upgrades, pod identity failures, scaling behavior, and networking faults\nConfigured and operated Entra ID across multi-application and multi-tenant patterns, including Conditional Access and PIM edge cases\nManaged cloud security posture in production: Wiz, vulnerability assessment and remediation, and threat detection in a regulated estate\nWorking KQL fluency across Log Analytics and Application Insights, and posture management through Wiz\nAzure platform knowledge: Management Groups, Subscriptions, ARM hierarchy, Cloud Adoption Framework\nNetworking knowledge: VNets, ExpressRoute, Private Link, Azure DNS, Virtual WAN, and the security controls across the path (NSG/ASG, firewalls, NAT, VPN)\nTerraform fluency, including modules, state management, and CI/CD pipeline integration\nInfrastructure as code pipelines: GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps\nStrong knowledge of at least one programming language, Python or Go, plus scripting proficiency in PowerShell, YAML, and JSON\nObservability and alerting platform experience such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Datadog, PagerDuty, and OpsGenie\nAWS experience a plus, cross-cloud operational patterns apply and the broader team operates a multi-cloud estate\nExperience operating in a regulated or financial services environment preferred\nSound judgment on when to automate, when to escalate, and when a manual change needs to go back into code\nProfessional certifications in DevSecOps or information security, such as Certified DevSecOps Professional CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker, are a plus\nWe offer top class training and development for you to be an asset in our organization!\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
