We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer with proven expertise in hands-on development and Automation Test Framework. This role is responsible for contributing to configuration, scripting, and integrations across the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Portal, and enterprise integrations) and ServiceNow ATF(Automated Test Framework).\nKey Responsibilities\nHands-on ServiceNow Development\nConfigure and customize applications, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and UI Policies.\nManage update sets, migration, and development lifecycle activities.\nCollaborate with architects/developers to ensure testability in designs.\nDevelop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline automation for faster, reliable deployments.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nMentor junior engineers in QA, automation, and ServiceNow configuration best practices.\nWork with analysts, product owners, and developers to align on requirements and deliverables.\nCollaborating across multiple time zones with global teams.\nActively participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).\nChampion a quality-first mindset across engineering and business stakeholders.\nQuality Engineering & Assurance\nAnalyze requirements and ServiceNow specifications to design scalable test cases, data, and scenarios.\nPlan, execute, and document manual and automated testing across ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations.\nLead functional, regression, integration, upgrade, and API testing for ITSM, Service Catalog, CSDM, and ITOM.\nBuild and maintain automation frameworks using ATF, Selenium, and related tools\nQualifications\n8+ years in software testing/development, with 4+ years on ServiceNow platform.\nHands-on proficiency in ServiceNow development and scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Catalog Scripts, Integration Hub).\nExperience across ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management.\nExpertise in one of the tools - ATF, Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI.\nStrong knowledge of upgrade lifecycle, patch testing, and defect management.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.\nSkilled in test management/defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).\nBachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.\nPreferred certifications: ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, Discovery, Event Mgmt.), ITIL v3/v4.\nTalents Needed for Success\n8+ years of proven experience in Development, and Testing, with deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules (Some of these includes ITSM, Service Catalog, CSDM, ITOM).\nProficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) to develop/modify Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Catalog Scripts, and Flow Designer logic.\nStrong expertise in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)\nHands-on experience with API testing for ServiceNow integrations.\nExperience with update set migration, ServiceNow development lifecycle, and deployment processes.\nHands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, patch testing, and defect management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to anticipate risks, enforce QA standards, and recommend improvements.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of deliverables, while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.\nProven ability to work in offshore-onshore delivery models, collaborating across multiple time zones with global teams.\nActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
