The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nPrepare, maintain and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure\nPrepare, maintain and execute automated test scripts\nMaintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts\nReview test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and obtain feedback\nTrack test execution milestones, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines\nConstruct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals\nCollaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues;\nIdentify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.\nProvide guidance to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases\nDevelop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered\nResponsible for process compliance & associated documentation\nAligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately\nNOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.*\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 6 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nJava-based test automation using frameworks such as TestNG, Karate, Rest Assured, and Cucumber, including BDD layer with Gherkin, data-driven testing, and API request/response validation.\nREST API testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, Karate, and Rest Assured, working across multiple payload formats (JSON, XML, CSV).\nOracle database experience using Toad and Java JDBC for data access, along with automated data validation.\nFamiliarity with Amazon S3 and file storage across JSON, XML and CSV formats. Test Automation Exposure in S3.\nSelenium Grid for UI automation testing\nALM (Micro Focus ALM / QC Center) for test case management.\nJIRA integrated with ALM for requirements, test cases, and automation metrics.\nGit / Bitbucket for source control\nFosters a culture where honesty and transparency are expected.\nStays current on changes in his/her own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.\nInvests effort to individually coach others.\nBuilds collaborative teams across the organization.\nCommunicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
