The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Performance Test Engineering role is responsible for the validation of non-functional requirements for performance testing.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDevelop understanding of the DTCC Software Delivery process, Performance Test Engineering framework, CoE (Center of Excellence) Engagement process as well as understanding of tech-stack (tools and technologies) to perform day-to-day job\nPrepare, maintain and execute performance test scenarios based on non-functional requirements and follow standard DTCC testing guidelines\nAutomate performance test scenarios by leveraging current automated functional and performance test scripts\nSupport traceability across Non-Functional Requirements, Performance Test Scenarios and Defects\nSupport the review of performance test scenarios from both a technical and business perspective with stakeholders, such as development teams and business\nTrack defects to closure, report test results, continuously execute plan and escalate as required\nSupport integration of performance testing with Delivery Pipeline and produce results\nCreate synthetic test data as per the data distribution and volume requirements\nDevelop a understanding of the product being delivered\nAdhere to all process standards, guidelines and documented procedures\nDevelop an understanding of the logical architecture and technical design of the supported application in relation to the performance and scalability\nAligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 4 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nExperience in performance engineering & resiliency testing (analysis, testing, and tuning) \nExperience developing n-tier, J2EE software applications\nExperience working in Unix or Linux environments\nExpertise in performance analysis of distributed platforms including Linux, Windows, AWS, Containers and VMware (tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, TeamQuest)\nExtensive knowledge of the functionality and performance aspects of the above computing platforms\nExperience in sophisticated statistical and analytical modeling\nExcellent analytical skills including:\nData exploration, analysis and presentation applying descriptive statistics and graphical techniques\nTime series analysis and forecasting\nKey Performance and volume metrics relationship modeling\nExpertise in load & resiliency testing tools, such as JMeter, Gremlin etc.\nExperience in scripting (Perl, Unix shell, Python, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins)\nExperience using JMS/IBM-MQ messaging system and Kafka systems\nUnderstanding of RESTful web service, JSON, and XML\nExperience in Relational Databases, preferably Oracle\nExperience with AWS services (Kinesis, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc)\nExperience with CI/CD pipeline implementations, including testing, using Jenkins or similar tool\nExpert MS Office skills.
