They are responsible for acting as a trusted coach, guiding the squad during ceremonies, removing impediments, and embodying Our Ways of Working. Additionally, Scrum Master takes the lead in maintaining the accuracy of, JIRA and governance artifacts in addition to promoting, improving, training, mentoring and adopting project management and scrum mastery best practices. As an Associate Director, the Principal Scrum Master is expected to be a leader on the team and in the community of Scrum Masters.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nIdentify and help to remove impediments from the Squad, following escalation paths as needed\nInteract with CoE’s on status, issues, collaboration, stakeholder engagement\nLiaise with Product Owner and Tribe/Hub Stakeholders to support Tribe activities such as the Quarterly Tribe Review\nEnsure Squad Manager Tool is up to date (Squad Members, OKRs, supporting documentation)\nPlan and chair (host) key meetings, help facilitate Sprint 0, SoS and distribute minutes for tracking purposes; follow-up as required\nCreate the project in JIRA, ensuring that traceability is maintained, accuracy and overall health is provided via metrics and dashboards; ensure rules are being followed\nTrain users and oversee JIRA backlog and planning sessions (PO owns backlog). Additionally, accurately define “Issue Type and Association” in JIRA\nCreate project(s), perform updates on resource, tasks, and allocations in PPM. Monitor staffing profiles, time tracking, budgeting, and forecast vs. actuals.\nManage release planning in accordance with Change Management policy\nActs as a change agent, guiding the squad on agile best practices and alignment with Our Ways of Working (OWoW), consulting with agile coaches as needed\nTakes a holistic view of squad’s body of work and being forward-thinking on initiatives and epics\nLeading Agile Ceremonies such as Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retro, Sprint Review/Demo, Sprint Planning\nAs an Associate Director, act as a leader within the community of Scrum Masters.\nEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with SDP and pass DPA audit requirements\nMitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 8 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nWorking knowledge of agile methodology\nUnderstanding of the end-to-end Institutional post trade Derivatives lifecycle highly desirable\nExperience with similar business/application messaging systems and protocols (e.g., SQL, MQ, Sftp, MS azure, XLST) an advantage\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
