The team partners with Data Stewards, Data Platforms, Application Development, Information Security, and Product Management to deliver scalable governance solutions aligned with enterprise data standards.\nAs a Senior Associate, Data Governance Engineering, you will help expand DTCC’s enterprise Collibra platform by developing workflows, automations, APIs, and integrations. This is a hands-on technical engineering role focused on enhancing metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and governance capabilities across the enterprise.\nYou will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, automate governance processes, and strengthen enterprise data management capabilities.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and enhance workflows, automations, and integrations within the Collibra platform. \nDevelop APIs and technical solutions using Groovy, Python, UNIX scripting, and related technologies. \nIntegrate Collibra with enterprise data platforms, applications, and data quality tools. \nImplement solutions supporting metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and data controls. \nPartner with Data Governance, Data Stewards, Data Engineering, Application Development, Information Security, and Product Management teams. \nTranslate business and governance requirements into scalable technical solutions. \nTroubleshoot platform, workflow, and integration issues across development and production environments. \nMaintain clear technical and business documentation for platform configurations, workflows, integrations, and support procedures. \nParticipate in Agile delivery activities, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and production support. \nContribute to the continued expansion and maturity of DTCC’s enterprise data governance program.\nQualifications\nMinimum of six years of related experience in metadata management, data governance, data cataloging, or data management. \nMinimum of three years of hands-on experience with Collibra or a comparable enterprise data governance platform. \nMinimum of three years of development or engineering experience using APIs, Groovy, Python, UNIX, or related technologies.\nExperience developing workflows, automations, integrations, and platform enhancements within a data governance solution.\nTalent Needed for Success\nStrong understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and data governance principles.\nExperience translating governance requirements into scalable technical solutions and platform implementations.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and technologies.\nStrong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.\nProven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Ataccama or other enterprise data quality solutions.\nExperience with additional data governance, metadata management, or data lineage tools.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake.\nExperience with AWS cloud services.\nFamiliarity with AI-driven metadata enrichment, automation, and data governance capabilities.\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
