Through automation, governance domain expertise, and deep knowledge of metadata, lineage, Snowflake, Collibra, and Atacama platforms, the role will improve platform quality, enhance compliance readiness, increase delivery velocity, and establish a scalable testing capability that supports enterprise-wide governance and AI-driven data initiatives\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 8 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDefine and drive test strategy across functional, regression, integration, performance, resiliency, and automation testing to ensure enterprise quality standards are met. \nLead test automation initiatives by developing reusable frameworks, improving automation coverage, and promoting continuous quality practices\nOwn release quality and production readiness, ensuring appropriate test coverage, regression execution, testing signoffs, and readiness approvals before production deployments. \nProvide leadership and mentoring to SDETs and test engineers while establishing testing standards, KPIs, and best practices.\nPartner closely with Agile squads, including Product Owners, Technology Leads, Developers, and Scrum Masters to define testable requirements and support sprint execution\nEnsure governance and compliance by maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results while adhering to DTCC SDLC, risk, security, and audit requirements. \nManage defects, risks, and quality metrics, driving issues to resolution and escalating risks that could impact delivery or production stability. \nOversee non-functional testing, including performance, capacity, stress, resiliency, environment, and infrastructure testing to validate platform reliability and operational readiness\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nTalents Needed for Success:\n5+ years of experience in data governance and metadata management\n5+ years of development experience in Testing Automations, metadata management tools like Collibra, Atacama, \n4+ years with ALM tools, Java/Python/ UNIX environments/SQL and Snowflake experience etc., relevant for testing automations\nStrong understanding of data cataloging, metadata management, data lineage, and data controls.\nExperience with data integration frameworks and governance tooling.\nFamiliarity with AI-driven metadata enrichment and automation is preferred.\nAbility to handle teams in executing the testing frameworks across multiple projects\nAbility to quickly understand and adapt to new tools, platforms, and project requirements.\nStrong documentation skills for both technical and business audiences.\nHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.\nExcellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with business, engineering, and leadership teams.\nStrong interpersonal, customer service, and verbal/written communication skills.\nExperience working in Agile environments (Scrum).\nProven ability to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.\nActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
