May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nFull stack developer with strong aptitude in Data (Snowflake or any other DB) and willingness to learn\nDemonstrate subject matter expertise in one or more programming languages for the development and support of applications\nWork effectively within different development methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)\nApply code patterns and design techniques to ensure performance requirements are met\nCoordinate with senior team members to implement solutions using secure coding best practices\nDevelop and maintains system documentation\nWork closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, analyzing and implementing solutions that solve complex business problems.\nResearch new technologies and incorporates in day-to-day work\nIncorporate data security, retention, and recovery issues into application builds\nAligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 2 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nCollaborates well within and across teams.\nCommunicates openly with team members and others.\nWorks with the team to review deliverables and ensure quality and accuracy; Adheres to established rules and procedures when performing work.\nActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
