The role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ApptioOne cost models, allocations, reporting, and integrations while partnering with Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in ApptioOne with strong Oracle database development skills and experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and month-end financial processes.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain ApptioOne cost models, allocations, business mappings, and reporting solutions.\nConfigure and support Budget, Forecast, Actuals, Showback, and Chargeback processes within ApptioOne.\nDevelop and optimize allocation strategies, drivers, and financial models aligned with business requirements.\nTroubleshoot data quality issues, allocation discrepancies, and model performance challenges.\nBuild and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and executive-level financial insights.\nSupport annual budget, forecast, and month-end close cycles within the Apptio environment.\nPerform impact assessments and implement configuration changes for new business requirements.\nDesign, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects.\nDevelop ETL/data transformation logic supporting ApptioOne integrations and data loads.\nAnalyze and optimize SQL performance and database processing efficiency.\nCreate reconciliation, validation, and control reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.\nHelp build integrations with other enterprise systems using Rest API and batch integration\nDocument technical designs, process flows, and operational support procedures.\nCollaborate with other developers and testers to build solutions\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 7 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\n5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ApptioOne. \n5+ years of strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience. \nExperience with Apptio TBM Studio, Cost Transparency, Planning, or related ApptioOne modules. \nStrong understanding of IT Financial Management (ITFM) and Technology Business Management (TBM) concepts. \nExperience developing complex allocations, cost models, and financial reporting solutions. \nStrong experience with relational databases, query optimization, and performance tuning. \nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nApptio TBM Certified Professional certification.\nExperience supporting Budget, Forecast, Actuals, Chargeback, and Showback processes.\nExperience with Oracle Database, Datawarehouse, ODI or similar integration tools.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.\nFamiliarity with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes.\nExperience supporting Month-End Close and financial reconciliation activities.\nExperience leading small projects. \nApptioOne, TBM Studio, Cost Transparency, Planning Applications\nReporting & Dashboards, Allocations & Cost Modeling\nOracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL\nPerformance Tuning, Data Modeling, Stored Procedures, Packages & Functions\nETL/Data Integration\nData Validation & Reconciliation \nSuccess Factors\nDeep hands-on Apptio One expertise rather than administrative-only experience.\nStrong ability to build and troubleshoot complex financial allocation models.\nAbility to independently develop SQL/PLSQL solutions supporting enterprise financial processes.\nStrong understanding of IT cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback methodologies.\nProven ability to work with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.\nActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
