Preferably in Toronto.\nAbout You:\nAs a Senior Data Analyst, you will transform raw data into trusted, well-modeled datasets using dbt, then design, build, and validate the customizable dashboard templates on top of them. You'll work closely with product, client-facing teams, and engineering to turn client use cases into reliable, well-built dashboards.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nGather and document client dashboard use cases with relationship managers and client-facing teams, and translate them into clear reporting requirements.\nBuild and maintain data models in dbt, transforming raw source data into staging, intermediate, and reporting layers that power dashboards.\nDesign the reporting layer to support client-specific configuration.\nImplement data quality tests, validation checks, and monitoring in the transformation layer.\nDesign, build, and test reusable dashboard templates with a configurable layer for client-specific needs.\nSupport with demos, requirements capture, and follow-up analysis.\nValidate data accuracy and visual consistency between legacy and migrated dashboards.\nDocument models, templates, and configuration clearly and consistently, including dbt model documentation and lineage.\nTrack delivery risks, dependencies, and priorities, and communicate status to program leadership.\nWhat You Bring:\n5+ years as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role\n2+ years building production dashboards in an enterprise BI platform\n2+ years of hands-on dbt experience (models, tests, macros, documentation)\nAdvanced SQL, including performance tuning on large datasets\nProven experience modeling raw, unprepared data for reporting and analytics (e.g., dimensional modeling, star schemas)\nExperience with Git-based version control and code review workflows\nExperience with a cloud data warehouse\nExperience gathering requirements from non-technical and client stakeholders\nStrong documentation habits\nClear communication, including with senior stakeholders\nAbility to deliver independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal ramp-up\nThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $50 hourly. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling.
