We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients.\nAs Senior Motion Designer, you’ll be joining a nimble team that jumps in wherever the action is. Instead of being tied to one client, you’ll get to work across a variety of accounts-perfect for someone who thrives on variety, thinks on their feet, and enjoys solving problems without missing a beat. If you're adaptable, self-sufficient, and great at working with different personalities, you'll feel right at home here. \nYou will produce video, animation and digital creative solutions to help communicate DEPT®’s clients’ goals. You’ll use movement to inspire, educate and engage a wide audience across social media, email and onsite.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDigital animations and video editing.\nTaking a lead on any multimedia questions and issues across the team.\nDelivering constructive feedback.\nImage and footage sourcing.\nTaking accountability for flawless design output.\nTaking briefs from start to finish, from storyboarding to completion.\nContributing innovating ideas at creative review meetings through research and the inspiration you seek in the external world.\nProtecting brand integrity and guardianship.\nChampion inclusivity and manage change effectively by cascading information to your team.\nDrive the delivery of work on time and to the highest standard by the understanding of your team's capabilities.\nSupport your team members\nAdvocate DEPT® as an employer of choice and support in interviewing.\nWorking within existing templates\nCreating new templates\nCollaborating with the team to set art direction for campaigns.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nA great source for up-to-the-minute creative knowledge and trends. You are well versed in working in an agency context and have relevant experience covering brand, direct and above the line creative work.\nMust have extensive experience with After Effects, Figma as well as the wider Adobe suite\nAny 3D experience is a bonus!\nWide knowledge of the animation/video creation process, from storyboards to rendering.\nA great teammate that supports their colleagues and doesn’t act as an individual.\nHighly motivated.\nAdds something unique to the culture of DEPT® and wants to be a part of a social environment.\nComfortable designing static assets when required.\nVery organised with attention to detail.\nWorks with grit and determination in the face of demanding deadlines.\nHas a desire to embrace new skills and challenges.\nKeen to build client relations and pitch their ideas to them.\nGood eye for layout, skilled in typesetting and retouching.\nThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 CAD.
