This individual will be responsible for various accounting duties including multi-entity balance sheet reconciliations, month end billing, renewal billing and subscription management. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, a multi-tasker, and able to work independently.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nParticipate in the day-to-day accounting operations, including processing AR or AP transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records for multiple entities\n\nExperience in interpreting contracts as they relate to ASC 606\n\nHelp maintain customer and vendor records for multi entities\n\nPrepare accurate invoices for customers during initial billing, month end billing, and renewals\n\nInvestigate and resolve all renewal billing issues or questions\n\nSubscription Management including accurate data in CRM and Accounting system and ability to create reporting\n\nAssist management in month-end accounting close process\n\nPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations such as deferred revenue, prepaid, fixed assets\n\nSupport with setting up new reconciliation schedules for accounts such as Accrued Commissions, Accrued Vacation, Deferred Revenue for subsidiaries\n\nAnalyze and reconcile revenue between financial and forecast\n\nMake journal entries as needed\n\nSupport with annual audit process by keeping accurate recordkeeping, maintaining detailed reconciliations, pull sample support\n\nHelp maintain a documented system of administrative policies and procedures\n\nComplete or assist with other assignments/projects as needed\n\nUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications\n\nRequirements\nFour-year degree in accounting or in related field\n\n2-4 years of professional experience in accounting\n\nDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracy\n\nDemonstrated ability to work as part of a fast pace, high performance company environment\n\nExpert in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)\n\nMust be highly organized self- starter and be able to operate independently\n\nMust possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external customers\n\nAdditional Skills\nExperience in Sage Intacct\n\nExperience in Salesforce\n\nExperience in Information Technology Industry\n\nAbout Deque\nDeque (pronounced dee-cue) is a web accessibility software and services company, and our mission is Digital Equality.
