Configure, monitor, and maintain systems to ensure they remain secure, stable, and scalable.\nOwn reliable connectivity. Help keep our global offices connected with dependable LAN/WiFi/VPN and site-to-site networking.\nManage endpoints at scale. Use MDM to deploy software, enforce configurations, and keep devices compliant across global offices.\nSet people up for day one. Support onboarding by preparing equipment, access, and, when needed, training so new hires can hit the ground running.\nSupport people locally and globally. Provide hands-on IT support for colleagues in the Asuncion office while also helping Deriv teams around the world with day-to-day technical issues, onboarding, access, devices, connectivity, and troubleshooting.\nCollaborate globally. Work with your team, other departments, and vendors to solve day-to-day technical issues across time zones.\nWho You Are\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network/internet issues\nExperience with network appliances such as FortiGate firewalls, Aruba access points, and switches, or similar tools such as Cisco or pfSense\nGood working knowledge of macOS or Linux and their security features\nAbility to build and maintain automation, such as scripts, workflows, or integrations, and comfort using AI tools to speed up operations and troubleshooting\nAble to communicate in English for day-to-day work with international colleagues; fluency is not required, but willingness to improve is important\nPleasant, resourceful personality with the ability to work across cultures and time zones\nBonus\nCoding/automation experience - especially Python, Ansible, shell scripting, bash/zsh, or similar tools that help you turn \"do it again\" into \"done forever\"\nTech and Tools\nMDM for software deployment, configuration enforcement, and device compliance\nFortiGate firewalls, Aruba access points and switches, or similar tools such as Cisco or pfSense\nSaaS tools and hardware/software vendor platforms\nThe Honest Reality\nThis role sits at the intersection of IT and Security - which means the bar is high.
