data, and digital assets.\nWhat You’ll Do\nMonitor security systems and tools to detect potential cyber security incidents\nAnalyse and validate security alerts, distinguishing real threats from false positives\nEscalate confirmed or unknown incidents in line with SOC playbooks and SLA requirements\nCommunicate incident details clearly to security response teams and internal stakeholders\nAssist senior analysts during incident containment, eradication, and recovery activities\nTrack and document incidents accurately to maintain reliable security records\nMonitor systems post-incident to confirm normal operation and successful resolution\nSupport threat intelligence research to identify emerging risks and attack patterns\nIdentify and escalate risks that may impact SOC service quality or response times\nContribute to improving SOC processes, tools, and monitoring effectiveness\nWhat We’re Looking For\n1-2 yearsof experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, or a related field\nA relevant diploma or degreein IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline\nFoundational knowledge of information security principles, controls, and best practices\nFamiliarity with security monitoring, incident management, and escalation processes\nExposure to SOC tools such as:SIEM platforms\nIDS/IPS\nFirewalls and web application firewalls\nEndpoint and monitoring solutions\n\nAn understanding of SLAsand the importance of timely detection and response\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow defined processes and playbooks\nClear verbal and written communication
