Read on. \nIn this role, you will… \nParticipate as a member of a project team comprised of Project Management, Buyers, Customer Service, and other cross-functional partners to successfully complete conveyor and material handling projects. \nOwn and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules and budgets and tracking engineering change orders. \nLead conversations and drive results with vendors and other suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs. \nReview customer specifications to ensure requirements are incorporated throughout the design process. \nProvide technical support throughout the engineering process. \nUse AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinate with external vendors, and obtain customer approvals. \nCheck drawings produced by others for accuracy. \nValidate handshakes and data exchange between multiple automation solutions to ensure successful integration within the overall system design. \nWe’re excited about you because… \nYou have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related area. \nYou are proficient in AutoCAD and Navisworks; working knowledge of Inventor or similar tools is a plus. \nYou are an expert in standard concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering, particularly in the material handling industry. \nYou can apply varying degrees of creativity and latitude to solve problems. \nYou are able to evaluate and anticipate project tasks with minimal direction, understanding that delivery is driven by project timelines. \nYou have years of experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Pallet Shuttle ASRS, and high-speed conveyor systems. \nYou have experience in leading, mentoring, or managing other team members. \nYou communicate effectively across teams and functions, building alignment and keeping work moving forward. \nYou work hard, you work well with others, and you’ve got a positive attitude. \nThis job description is not exhaustive.
