Your tasks & responsibilities?

As a Talent Partner, you will play a key role throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You will be involved in a wide range of HR processes, from recruitment and selection to onboarding, employee development (in close partnership with our Learning & Development colleague), retention, and offboarding.

You will act as the HR partner for our Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Legal, Data and IT departments and work closely together with your fellow Talent Partner. In this role, you will report directly to the HR BP Lead.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of recruitment activities across Europe, from intake meetings and writing compelling job advertisements to sourcing candidates, managing stakeholders, and preparing salary proposals. Throughout the process, you ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
• Thinking strategically and creatively about the best approach for every vacancy. Fresh ideas and out-of-the-box initiatives are not only welcomed but actively encouraged.
• Ensuring a smooth and professional preboarding and onboarding experience, including a warm and impactful first day at DESOTEC.
• Actively supporting and following up with new employees to facilitate their successful integration into the organization.
• Serving as the first point of contact for your departments on HR-related questions, challenges, and concerns. You approach issues with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, supported by your manager and the broader HR team whenever needed.
• Guiding departing employees through a high-quality offboarding process, including exit interviews that help us continuously learn and improve.
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on efficiency, employee experience, and operational excellence.

Who are you?

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a relevant field such as Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• You ideally have some initial experience in soft HR and are a true people person. Building relationships with both current and future colleagues, as well as external partners, energizes you.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. Additional language skills are considered a strong asset.
• You are creative and possess excellent writing skills, enabling you to craft compelling job advertisements and engaging social media content.
• You are a true team player who enjoys collaborating, sharing knowledge, and supporting colleagues in achieving common goals.
• You are resilient and stress-resistant. You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift and no two days are exactly alike. Whether candidates withdraw from a process, vacancies remain open longer than anticipated, or unexpected challenges arise, you remain calm, solution-oriented, and motivated to keep moving forward.
• You are accurate, organized, and digitally savvy. You are comfortable working with MS Office and ideally have experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other relevant tools. You also believe in a structured way of working: our ATS serves as the single source of truth. You therefore ensure that vacancies, candidate records, feedback, and status updates are consistently kept accurate and up to date, allowing all stakeholders to access the latest information at any time.

What does your team look like?

As a Talent Partner, you will be part of our enthusiastic HR EU team, a close-knit group of 10 colleagues who work together every day to attract, develop and support talent across DESOTEC. We combine professionalism with a strong team spirit, support one another whenever needed, and celebrate our successes together.
