You maintain a clear overview of our tax obligations across Europe, identify risks before they become issues, and provide proactive advice to finance teams, management, and local entities. At the same time, you continuously look for ways to make our processes smarter, more efficient, and future-proof.\nYou oversee tax compliance across Europe, ensuring that all obligations and deadlines are met accurately and on time.\nYou are responsible fortax accounting and reporting, including tax provisions and statutory tax reporting.\nYou manage transfer pricing and intercompany transactions, ensuring they are tax compliant and properly documented.\nYou coordinate tax audits and maintain relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.\nYou identify tax risks, assess their potential impact, and implement appropriate actions to mitigate and manage them.\nYou take the initiative to optimize and further standardizetax processes, procedures, and internal controls.\nYou serve as the first point of contact for tax-related questions and act as a key sparring partner for finance teams, management, and local entities across Europe.\nIn short, you combine strong tax expertise with a hands-on mindset and are given ample opportunity to help shape a robust, future-oriented tax and compliance function within DESOTEC.Who are you?\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex tax matters.
