The company’s portfolio now includes automation control, motion control, vibration control and safety products.\nAce Controls is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st Shift (6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.). We are currently working 10 hours shifts. We are looking for a great candidate who has some machine operation experience and is willing to learn as we will provide cross-training on a variety of production equipment.\nSummary: Operates various production machines including the following: vertical mill/CNC lathe, single and multi-spindle drill presses, cut-off machines, lathes, mills and washing equipment. May use complicated jigs on close tolerance operations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nReads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.\nSets up, changes over and makes necessary adjustments to equipment/CNC programs\nOperates machines, using push button or pedals.\nObserves machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.\nPerforms deburring operations on machined parts.\nRecords quality control/assurances information.\nReads simple go/no go gages, ring gages, height gages, plug gages, micrometers, veneer gages.\nResponsible for quality levels of operations performed.\nResponsible for simple preventative maintenance of machines.\nResponsible for housekeeping in work areas.\nResponsible for the proper documentation production records and other documentation.\nOther duties as assigned by supervisor. \nRequirements:\nTwo years or more of relevant experience.\nExperience working with Fanuc controls.\nAbility to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. \nAbility to understand and work with G&M codes and to write programs with G codes is required.\nAbility to perform simple to complicated mathematical processes and analyze results recommending corrective action.\nAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nAnalytical skills to determine when a machine goes out of calibration.\nPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
