The ideal candidate will not only be technically capable and experienced but will also have a passion for helping others, improving IT culture and for learning new technologies. The support technician will have many opportunities to learn and try new things as well play an important role in shaping the future of IT culture at ACE.\nThis position will be located at ACE Controls, Inc., a Stabilus company in Farmington Hills MI. ACE is the internationally recognized expert in the field of industrial damping technology. The company’s portfolio now includes automation control, motion control, vibration control and safety products.\nJob Summary:\nThe ERP Program Analyst will have the authority and responsibility to oversee activities related to ERP management including backup, recovery and documentation of the system and ERP adjacent applications and programs.\nJob Responsibilities:\nServes as a technical resource to managers and other staff, both IT and non-IT, on both the Progress database and the QAD MFGPRO ERP system.\nMaintains ERP databases and monitors and troubleshoots system and end user issues. \nDevelops and/or runs both routine and end user ERP reports.\nManages budget requirements with supervision of leadership.\nConsults and/or contracts with necessary outside vendors within the approved budget.\nMaintains and develops documentation for all projects implemented.\nAlong with other IT staff, provides technical assistance to all end users on all user issues.\nConsults with other IT employees within the global technology team regarding the ERP systems, relative to both hardware and software. \nTechnical project management of ERP and IT related initiatives.\nComfortable programming in SQL, Power Bi, and OpenEdge Advanced Business Language (ABL - Progress 4GL) to customize reports based on organizational needs.\nFunctions as a working member of the global IT team to meet global ERP standards and effect manufacturing process improvements.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelors Degree in Technology or Business Information Systems\n5-10 years related experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination of higher education, certification and experience\n\nWorking Conditions:\nNormal office environment - Onsite (Farmington Hills)\nAccountability:\nResponsible to follow all ACE Controls, Inc. procedures and technical guidelines as well as adhere to customer requirements.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
